Like the little Dutch boy who desperately tried plugging up the dyke to stem the flow of water, those of us who wish to protect our cultures from the flood of political correctness are in the same state of desperation, whether there will come a group of strong men to rally round and plaster over the cracks is yet to be seen. Political correctness as we know it today, and its proponents on the left, have made a specific point of nullifying any genuine, unified opposition, using traditional communist tactics of bullying, scaremongering and vilification, which leaves opponents too scared to execute a coherent counterattack.
The Cathedral, that being the current establishment, now controls mainstream culture with an iron fist. Traditional cultures of much of the Western world have slowly been replaced with a bland, stupefying, multiculti stew, which combines the two frightening ingredients of hyper-capitalism and political correctness. I lay blame primarily at the feet of the baby boomer generation, who in a classic case of folie à deux decided to turn their backs on tradition when they came of age in the 1960’s, but of course the rot set in further back than that. I believe major psychological effects from two devastating world wars helped to create a generation that sort to destroy all that was once held so sacred, but it was helped along by certain individuals, brimming with hate for Western culture, Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Sigmund Freud and their cohorts of course, but the Frankfurt School played a major role in shifting culture in the wrong direction, using the “slowly but surely” method. The likes of Theodore Adorno, Herbert Marcuse et al, were highly intelligent men, and understood how the art of subversion could give even the most abhorrent and ludicrous of plans a foothold.
Political correctness was a once laughable notion that was only taken seriously by sandal wearing high school teachers in God forsaken inner-city slums, who furrowed their brows over black horses being called unruly in story books, because that was somehow racist. I’m not joking, just take a look at an old episode of 60 Minutes on YouTube.
Now a cult which possesses all the glaring similarities to an extremist religion – political correctness – has reached its zenith, and is now hell bent on rooting out dissidents and getting its claws into every single facet of culture, large or small. Using every weapon at its disposal, from character assassination to threats of ending someones career, no essence of fair play exists in the mind of the politically correct.
As the 21st century trundles along, generations born and raised in this quagmire of cultural sludge have come of age, and are now becoming the new guardians of Western institutions. Although many have seen the light, an equal number act akin to Chairman Mao’s army of students who wreaked havoc during China’s “cultural revolution”, destroying and killing their way through the cities.
All culture now has to pass through the lens of cultural theory, to be dissected and reshaped by globalists, feminists, and left-wing politicos of various stripes. Even cultures one would think completely set apart from the headache inducing world of politics, such as the world of gaming, have come under attack from the PC hordes. The Gamergate crises, which began in 2014 and continues to roll on to this day, centres around the supposed sexism and lack of “diversity” in video games, yet for those us with an ounce of commonsense, it has from the get go been about corrupt game journalists colluding with cash cows and a PC elite, hell bent on injecting poison into a creatively fruitful industry.
Gamergate is one of the major cultural battles to arise in the last few years, against ordinary men and women who simply enjoy creativity, and an insane elite who wish to destroy true creativity and wrap their putrid tentacles around it, slowly turning it into yet another off shoot of their ideology.
“God please forgive these dumb fucks, for they know not what they do” is what I like to say about my own generation – the Millennials – because my generation are but the results of the West’s corrosion of sanity. However, I cannot forgive anyone who with the worlds most precious tool – the independent mind of an adult, does not see past the rot and does not help to quell this frightening world that is being created before us.
